I don't think i will use it, to be honest i think i will be happy to see it go,i already have masses of rocks that came out of the boarders. Just this small patch took me ages top layer is weeds and plants, then there is the rediculous amount of slate, then felt then more roots n weeds.

If you offer it on your local 'Free cycle' someone may well come take it off you?

it breaks really easily, but all my neighbours are saying someone might want it, what for?

I would love it, broken up it make a great ground cover in a rockery or scree garden? I have some red slate as a feature next to old brown railway sleepers, looks lovely when it rains. It could look good broken up and used to circle your well?

I don't think it's very child / dog friendly, its quite sharp. Plus after spending weeks picking it up i can't wait to see the back of it.

I have found a neighbour that will use this slate for her boarders, my mum is also liking the idea, but dad dosn't so am going to nip over when he is at work and do it before he gets back.
