Do you go snail and slug hunting, I only have two or three in a pot and despite covering them with grit the pesky slugs still have them.

I rely on the frogs, Stroller. If they finish up as lace curtains (which they often do) then so be it. I'm trying out copper rings on some plants and that seems to be working but I haven't done it on the hostas because they are just too big.

LOL. Try smearing vaseline around the rim of the pots - that's supposed to work.
