I can't wait until I get my newly purchased Mussaenda philippica 'Doña Luz' in the ground. It's doing very well with rain water so far. : > )

Would love this Bernieh but I guess its to frost tender for our climate.

This plant is actually more than frost tender...it's very cool weather intolerant.
In many subtropical climates it looses many of its leaves in winter.

It's beautiful. I'd love to see a close up shot of the flower.

There is a close-up shot or two of this shrub ... if you click on my avatar you will be taken to my home page. There you need to click on the 'Garden' tab and go to page 2. You'll find Mussaenda philippica 'Aurorae' and if you click on that title, you will find a couple of photos to then click on to get a closer view.
