Fritillaria "Crown Imperial"

love these and this is a particularly nice warm but soft colour.

I saw a full bed of these in the park last week,and couldn't remember the name...thanks for reminding me..they are gorgeous,,

Beautiful, i tried these once years ago(old garden) with no success, any tips?

I think the secret is to plant the bulb very deep...about 12 inches....and lay the bulb on its side......

Brilliant, I'll give them a go, I love the colour of this one, does it have a name? I'll save this to favs so I won't forget what to do with the bulb :-)

Sorry....the label is long lost....and my entry in my book just says crown imperial......
