I love thrift...infact I bought another 2 small plants today, it always reminds me of my parents home in Rutland as a youngster, there thrift was growing among the crazy paving and for some reason the cats loved to sleep on it...no idea why though.

We were staying near Stamford a couple of weeks ago Rogi and sat beside the Rutland water after a visit To Geoff Hamiltons garden centre .. I like Stamford very much , it's a nice walk across the park and bridges from the car park there's always so many ducks and Swans to see , I love the huge market filling the streets :o) your parents home didn't go under the water did it ???

Amy, I stayed at The George Hotel in Stamford many years ago, was very nice and Rutland is beautiful.

It is Dawn , lucky you staying at the George Hotel , we had to go there once to meet and pick up my cousin and her daughters from New Zealand they had been trying on their Bridesmaids dresses for a wedding .. another useless piece of info ..lol...
