Begonias getting a bit of sun. They will be protected on colder nights. The categories are simple: colour and habit. Some are 5 years old now, and as large as dinner plates. Purchased from Wilkos!

Or I would even say a full time job.

We've only recently retired - previously working 45-55 hours a week in our day jobs, so this sort of work had to be done in our few spare hours. We now work at a more leisurely rate, pottering about and having frequent breaks for tea. We don't have that Sunday evening feeling when we wished our lives away for the next Saturday.
We can easily fill the whole day in the garden - listening to a multitude of birds (and the cockerel next door) enjoying the perfume from the flowers and admiring the trees in the arboretum we back onto. Why go on holiday when we can enjoy such wonderful surrounding in our own garden.
