They are nearly a month later than usual - everything has been that much later this year. But the good thing about it being cooler is that flowers are holding on much longer than in other years. It gives the other plants chance to grow in and fill the border out, no gaps this year it has been brilliant to see so much colour so early in the year and still more to come - slowly but surely the garden is springing back into life.
