They love to go for a 'walky-walky'. They get totally exited whenever I say the magic word. I can fully understand their feelings: it's just a lovely walk, going up and down the hills and meeting sheep etc. It's good exercise and good for your eyes too :)

Thanks Tommymoo, been a bit of a year he's had fits all his life(he's nearly 10) but only once or twice a year, but late last year he started getting them more frequently, sometimes 2 or three times a day, so had to start having medication, trouble is its taken a while to get the dose right, the tablets made him more ill than the fits, but fingers crossed hopefully got it right now, hasn't had any fits for a month now, and back to his mischeivous self pinching tea towels, trouble is the tablets give him terrible wind, lol.

My golden has seizures also, very random so the vet can't put him on anything. He hasn't had one, as far as I know, in about 8 months.
Beautiful view, Tommymoo!

Horrible to see isn't it Lauram, because you can't do anything for them, Fudges always used to be in the middle of the night, and always in the summer, you'd hear things clattering about in the utility room were he sleeps, but as you say once or twice a year isn't worth giving them medication, he actually fell down the stairs during one episode and through the banisters, so worried about him injuring himself, the vet says he has three other chocolate labs with epilepsy, so must be something in the breeding.
Hope your golden retriever continues to be fit free :-)

Ooooh. It's heartbreaking just to read about your dogs, Simbad and Lauram; it must be so much more painful to witness your babies suffering.. Best of luck, hope your dogs keep out of any problem! xxx

Dogs are like people, Tommy, some are the best thing since sliced bread, and some can be difficult at best, but all respond to being loved.........

LOL Flori ~ ! I totally agree with you; cats also respond to being loved. I must confess that I often think Lucy the cat is a lot better company than my husxxxd. Shhhhhh ;-)

Well my OH is getting a little island on the top of his head, but he keeps telling me that that is his Solar Panel! Ha ha ha! Guess it's better than him having a wind turbine! :~)))

Hahaha Flori~~ A little island! And it's his Solar Panel~!!! LOL~ So funny~~! (Sorry Mr Flori's H~~) Having a solar panel (or even a wind turbine!) on people's head might be a good idea though~~ a new way of producing green energy LOL :-)

Certainly is ,what a wonderful place to live:-)
Funny how they get to know certain words Fudges favourite is 'biscuit',lol, the other day he pinched half a bar of bournville chocolate off the table never normally does that, but he's been put on tablets for his epilepsy and they seem to make him starving all the time, as if labs aren't hungry enough, lol, but the thing that made me laugh, he pushed the empty wrapper under the table as if to hide the evidence, lol.
