Additions to wildlife pond area

I'd rather a frog BB lol, as long as the mouse my daughter saw in this area the other day does't takes up resisdence i'll be happy. Saying that, if it was a door mouse he/she can stay!

Great I thought as we all seem to be in a singing mood and Cristina mentioned 'rain', I felt the appropriate song to sing was ' Just singing in the rain' , dont forget I am going dotty !! humour me.

lol Grandmage Well my love your singing worked it rained last night!!. Something strange happened in my garden. My pond that was full of algae, over night became clear. I was thinking about my pond all day today and wondered how the algae came to my pond overnight and left 2/3 weekd later after the rain. Just been in the garden am a little upset theres algae back in the pond!! I thought my pond was stabilizing

Lol, you will be back and forth watching that algae for ever me thinks !! Dont think algae is such a bad thing though Great, sometimes it gives a welcomed shade to all critters great and small !!!

Grandmage don't tell anyone but I go and look at my pond 3 times a day. Before I go to work; when I come home at lunch time and when I come home in the evening sssh lol . oh I forgot I check pond before I go to bed! I still have no creatures Grandmage i've even been pond dipping ssssh people will think Im bonkers ha ha

I love it Great, those critters will be there dont worry, they will want to rent the space before it gets too cold !!!

I have added to the 'frog hotel' there is terraced housing now lol My daughter said today she has seen the sparrows sitting on the log pile I started. Where they pinching the twigs for their nests I asked her. No she said they were all wipping their beaks! Saw the sparrows at 7am this morning going into the pond for a drink. So at least i know my wildlife area is being used!!
