Walked to the top of St Stephens's Cathedral (Stephansdom) in Vienna and spotted this.

Yes...this is Vienna's personality...I was so happy when my son spotted the falcon....we were walking up the solid spiral staircase....I'm asthmatic...was sooo out of breath...the perfect moment for a photograph!!!!

You chose the right moment for your rest, lucky you spotting him/her ..... it looks small there, are european kestrels small ?

Yes Louise, small compared to other birds of prey..i guess....but the females are larger than the males.
