Hi Pip its very peaceful in this Area & its got a Mown Path that leads to/from it :) My Garden goes behind those Laurals 2 Ks!!! Its My Compost/Nettle Area ;)

Your pic gave me a good idea this morning. I got up to water the newly sown lawn and then added lots of different poppy seeds and aquilegias. It will create my version of a meadow and will take a lot less cutting. So thanks for giving me the idea

Yw Pips :) My grass area is so big iv let some of it grow Wild 2 help the Wildlife/Bees ect :)

The top 1/2 of the garden that I have lawned was a massive Koi Carp pond which I had dismantled when I bought the house. Though what I have since discovered is that under the topsoil is netting to stop the roots of the Horse Chestnut tree coming through, I assume. The ground is so rock hard and rooty it is a nightmare so a meadow seems to be the perfect solution. Fingers xd it works out :~)).

Im so plezd to hear u decided on a Wild Flower Meadow itl help the Insects/Bees/Butterflies no end Pips :)
