Bernieh:
When do the Jacarandas bloom there?
The trees here started blooming in early April...however, they're all in full bloom now. San Diego is pretty much purple/blue now. : > )
Mushybanna, thanks! : > )

Andy ... the Jacarandas here won't start blooming until the end of Spring/beginning of Summer.

Bernieh:
The Jacarandas there should all have buds by now...as you're getting into late fall there. The Jacaranda flowering season here should be peaking over the next month or so.

My Jacaranda is the notorious late bloomer here in my suburb ... so definitely no buds yet!

I have some other Jacaranda pics on a cloudier day, posted on GoY. The flowers show up much clearer.
