I haven't moved these yet, Gt. I put the two 4" pots that I bought in this place under the spruce. It took them one season to establish...the second they bloomed a little... I'm hoping for big things this year as this is the third year when they are supposed to catch on! There are buds...so when they flower I'll post a pic..the flowers are sweet little yellow petals with pink and orange in the centre and fuzzy stamens! really interesting. I think I might have a pic on here from last year. they really are quite unique.
Considering how long it took them to establish I would say that they don't like being moved about. If they are taprooted plants like the verbascum thapsis that's probably why.

They look like the taproot. Its behind a bergenia that is growing much more vigorously, so I need to bring it into the sun. This will be the third year bloom, it little pink daisy shape flowers along a whispy stem. I'm hoping it takes a more classic shape as it ages.

They look so well established. I have a three year survivor of an english mullien, much more straggly. I think it needs more sun. Are they sensitive to getting moved about?
