Grows to just over a foot tall in deep, humus rich, moist soil in shade. The flowers never seem to be open though

Sticki - use the Plant Finder on the RHS Website to look for suppliers. Some of mine came from Jacques Amand, also worth checking Long Acre Plants as they specialise in plants for shade

many thanks andrew - i will do that.
are they difficult to grow?

Sticki - if you remember they are woodland plants, then that tells you the conditions they need. Slugs and snails are fond of the young shoots but it has been so dry here, the spring display from them is the best I can recall

maybe thats why the edinburgh ones were so amazing? i have a woodland type garden so they should be ok, hostas are fine as are ferns.

Love trilliums, just don't have the space for them....you need to leave them undisturbed to get them established and i just can't manage it!
