Meconopsis Cambrica

i have a clump of these flowering to, but i don't know where they came from, they really are a splash of sunshine.

Those tiny seeds get everywhere...in the cracks in paving, even in gaps in the walls....must be an easy pleaser...:o)

Great brightness. Really a beauty.

It is Gt....I wonder if it would be okay where you are.......happy in the Welsh mountains....it maybe could survive your winters?

I was seeing some bright little poppies in some gardens as I drove around town. I think it might! The meconopsis are much hardier with the winter than a papaver, if thats appropriate to compare them...lol. :-)

I'm sure it is Gt.....if you would like some, I can keep a seed head for you...:o)
