Thanks San, we watch her in the garden but she has the run of the house, she's always disappearing! she spends 6 months of the year under the dishwasher hibernating. She is a bit big to lose I think lol :~)).

Oh Gosh , i'm sure she's very tame and lovely , i'm not quite sure how I would react if she slithered past while I was having coffee , I nearly had a heart attack when I found my sons grass snake in the bathroom many years ago .. ..LOL....

You have a very relaxed attitude to your slithery pet Skillen....I also like snakes...ever since we went to see the rescue centre on SKye and I also had a friend who had snakes, but he kept them in tanks and just took them out occasionally. I'd be scared of treading or sitting on them as they always head for under the cushions!

We used to have a tank for her Karen but it was really too big and took up to much room and she was very rarely in it, so i got rid of it and bought a lovely bow fronted aquarium lol which looks much nicer. As long as she has a heat pad she's ok. She is 9ft long so it would be hard to tread on her and she never goes up on the chairs .
Pondlady, she doesn't bother the fish when she goes for a swim lol.
