Its a Phalenopsis ....common name is Moth Orchid, Sandra..

Thanks Bathgate..I hadn't remembered it was in flower in early June of that year,as ever since,it has started up again about now.It only has one stem this year,but it will go on for a few months..not bad for a garden centre reject though.:o)
