started off great with lots of buds but now only one bud looks to be surviving, dont know why, all leaves are dying off and buds to, strange, no bugs on it either, i love this poppy to

im thinking it happened when i was away and son wasnt watering enough, it was very hot weather, buds gone yelowy to, ive been giving all my plants plenty of water since but fear i was to late for some ;o(

Maybe thats it SB which would perhaps explain why this bud is surviving. What size are the stems are they larger in width than normal?

What a shame Sandra wonder what the problem is, it could be dry conditions, but hope it will survive and come back again next year.Ive been staking mine today 15 buds, only 3 last year so its doing well.

sorry late getting back, getting ready to go out lol, stems looked about right at first but now they look short, not grown to full size,
yours sounds great carole im pleased for you, i will have to share yours this year lol
steve not had time yet been all go with son not being well and other things getting in the way, like work lol

Havent had this happen so cannot help, Could they have been too dry? I give mine plenty of water and a sunny site SB
