supposed to be Duchess of Edinburgh (think) it is very green looking when it first is in bud, but then turns white and very bushy flowers both of these Clems have struggled this year, think it is because they get the wind blowing them about the white one is on the opposite side to the Multi Blue, thought they would look good when they met in the middle, but they don't get that close together, maybe one day.

Oh yes. Duchess of Edinburgh is notoriously susceptible to clematis wilt. I had it in the ground for years before it flowered and then it did - prolifically - and then it was miserable again the next year. It's beautiful, but you might do better with arctic queen (check that name) or one of the other double whites. Better still, have a Gillian Blades. She is incredibly beautiful, strong growing and very reliable...not that tall though......mmmm....I wouldn't hold your breath for this one to reach multi blue. You wait, now I've said that, she'll go mad!!

It has more flowers than it has had before and it is shooting up from the bottom, think the cold winds have troubled it. Will look at the others on Taylors website thanks

Top right corner ....clematis florida Alba Plena/Flore Pleno? Mine is not doing anything at all so far. Just a dead looking bit of twig! :( such a lovely clematis too, and last year, when it was lovely, I didn't take any photos of it :(
