This Wood Pigeon visits my friend's garden on a daily basis.....it has demolished a hanging basket of Pansies. We have realised why it likes to trample in the containers....there are feeders hanging in the tree above and when the smaller birds feed, crumbs drop down into the container plants...Hey Ho!
