tried to create some interest in a corner of the garden that doesn't see much traffic.

Oh, just saw that again too. Is it aegopodium? I'm looking to add some. I love the look, but hear its a thug.

I would recommend it, Gt. and Clematisa...with the following proviso: For those who have small gardens ...or whose collections take up all available space in their garden...yes, it might be thought a thug... but if you are making a garden that requires little care, with areas on the periphery of your lot...where you don't wish to mow grass...or just want some colour...then aegopodium podagraria is for you! If it tries to go in places you don't want it...a lawn mower gets rid of it fast and though the roots are plentiful they are not hard to remove. It does flower with greenish umbels...not much of a flower head...looks like Queen Anne's Lace, but not as pretty. I removed the flower stalks... It's a great ground cover. In the above pic it's happily coexisting with a geranium in partial shade. I love it... and where I don't love it ....I rip it out!! ; - ) !

Looks nice. I'd explore, long as the dragon let me pass. :-)
