Oh this is a beauty Motinot I,ll need to keep am eye out for this for next year ...
I was just looking aroung the garden today and there in one of the bed,s are three Dahlias from last year happily growing away ,unlike the one,s that I dug up and pampered over the winter ,only for them to go to mush maybe I should have just left thay where they where ,still I have a lot of nice new one,s coming into flower ,but not as far on as your,s
.Have you come across one called Smarty ....it,s a little beauty ...you,d love it ...

I've seen 'smarty' Janette...Its gorgeous..reddish petals with alternating white ones??...All my Dahlias in the ground rotted off....I lifted about 4 of my favourites and kept them dry in my boiler shed (some heat in there)...none of mine in the ground appeared..you've been lucky Janette....I bought 12 new ones...Its very exciting, isn't it ??...:>)

Well it seems the other way round with me the one,s I lifted rotted and the three that were left ,,,by mistake survived the winter .I bought a lot of new tubers as well every morning I am out looking to see which new one,s has opened and then it,s all ohs and ahs lol when another opens.....

I know Janette...Thats what its all about.....I feel sorry for those who don't garden..lol
