no sign under water of buds carol, andrew told me to plane it close to surface till things started to happen then lower deeper down which i did

thats good Dandan, its taking its time flowering, iv turned my water fall down so no movement, guess it needs more sun, is your in bud to ;o))

very nice - also are the leaves next to it lily or arrowheads? - shaped same as ligularia

thanx paul the lily did well for first year with 4 flowers in all, the leaf next to it is marsh marigold, like a big buttercup which is lovely.

I think we had it - they are very nice

yes hoping it survives winter, it should but you never know.

ours died because of it - horse tail we have is like iron though

yes the plants certainly make the pond dont they they, i had water hyacynth but the summer wasnt hot enough to bring on the flowers, but the fish love to eat the roots so will get it again, takes over so had to keep removing some ,
