Do they need any special conditions Kathy, the few I have are always OK but wonder if they need special food.

I usually give mine a dose of liquid seaweed food in spring Dawn, supposed to encourage flowers, if I get round to it,lol, so many of them now, doesn't seem to bother them if I forget, do give them some well rotted manure when planting though.

Thanks Kathy. I think they all like a bit of the old well rotted manure. I must contact my local farmer again. Last year he delivered me a load on a 6 ton trailer - guess what, its all gone, wonderful stuff.

Crikey 6 ton, mind you the size of your garden not surprised, we have to take our plastic bags and shovel down to were our friends keep horses and load the car,lol, should probably hook a trailer up to the horses,lol.

Good plan Kathy. Its quite handy that the farmer delivers it, alot of shovelling afterwards though.
