This was a laurel!

This is the state of my poor laurel after the frosts got it. I left it where it was until I could think of something to replace it with and given the amount of space it took up, I'll be planting a honeysuckle and something else. What a state it was in!

How awful! lost a few of my shrubs worst with Pitosporum and some of the Euynomynus, its heart breaking isnt it! Honeysuckle will be nice against the Wall ;0)

Hubby's quite happy! It was growing in front of the study window - now he'll have scented honeysuckle - hopefully! In front of the gap is a large hydrangea so I'm going to have to read up on pruning a large hydrangea so that whatever is placed behind it doesn't get lost or forgotten about!
I lost a number of plants including a couple of choisya and a pot of agapanthus (we brought those back from Jersey quite a few years ago). Still, it does mean some plant shopping is planned.

oh no,that is a mess,the frosts have killed off loads of plants this year.two of my bay trees have been killed off.its very sad,your honeysuckle will be lovely.will you be planting a shrub as well?
