Thanks DD, we are very lucky, this is one of the biggest gardens on the estate. Not long, but wide!

Ideal I could do wide, ours is narrow and has taken us a long time to get it to look right.

I think it is about 360 square metres Donna. The front of our house is in the corner of a square, like a village green type square, so the plot is triangular in shape. Almost no garden at the front of the house, but about 2 and half plots width at the back. That was the reason for choosing this particular house! Unfortunately, it also means we have six houses over looking our back garden, which makes it feel like we are on display all the time....hence the attempt to block out some of the neighbours with trees!
