Early-Winter Downunder: another beautiful Winter's day

Such beautiful green hills! All our hill are brown already...they have been for the last 2 months now.

Hi Andy ... yes it's strange seeing the hills green at the start of winter. As you know our 'dry' season got off to quite a wet start ... with so much rain during out Autumn. Today we even had showers ... and it's winter ... it's just unheard of!!!

It must be great for the plants to have some showers during the the middle of the dry season. I think El Niño will be ending soon, from what I've read. Maybe your weather will get back to normal. : > )

We've been cooler than normal all spring (the coolest recorded for some California cities). However, I have a feeling the "July Fry" will be starting soon and then, we'll be complaining about the heat. I just hope we get some rain or good showers from the monsoonal flow which should be starting soon!

Your so lucky Bernieh, bet its so peaceful. I live on the edge of the countryside, but dont have a view like that from my garden LOL !!!

Shinobi ... it's very very peaceful. Everyone who visits comments about the peace and quiet ... and they generally fall asleep on the verandah after a while!

Sounds fantastic, I love peace and quiet.. and to nod off on the veradah sounds just right LOL
