Pansies In the Snow

The greenhouses and garden centers opened up this week-end, so I bought pansies to put in my hanging baskets, since they can stand the frost we get this time of the year. This morning, we had a fresh blanket of snow on the ground, which is now melting. I guess that global warming has missed this area in northern Minnesota. Fishing season started for this state of over 10,000 lakes yesterday, but there is still ice on many lakes.
You're not the only one Talljim...it has been snowing here now for the past 5 hours, The funny part is I finally got around to taking my snow tires off 4 days ago.
