Soaking Beans

Soaking Beans

Put a load of broad beans in and only a few have come up so thought I would add a few and as they looked quite dry soaked them overnight. They absorbed about a glassfull of water so maybe will do better

well - this spring is very dry - so I guess just keep them moist when you plant them:-)

You could also try putting some in a bag of moistened compost...they should sprout within 4-5 days. Soaking them in water for too long may make them rot.
