this was in our local news.....truly a wonderful scene
Visitors to graveyard have been spooked by a plague of web-spinning caterpillars.
The scene at Southend Cemetery in Essex is straight out of a horror film with silken threads draped over trees, plants and gravestones.
It has been caused by an invasion of thousands of bird cherry ermine moth caterpillars who have created a vast web-like nest.

Thanks Eggbox for explaining, it IS Southend cemetery and is a MUST if anyone lives local. I spent hours there marveling at the eerie graveyard scene. It looks like a special effect doesn't it.
Should i put a few more pics up for you guys to see?

Do you mean me Steve? it never occurred to me they were not genuine I just wanted to know more about it as i had never seen anything like it?

I did. lol. I wasn't sure if you thought maybe it was trick photgraphy. I did when I 1st saw it in the paper. The wife saw it for real but didn't have the camera. She usually takes it everyhere. lol. Def going to pop down tomorrow see if its still there.
