Thanks. I've been growing/tending bonsai for at least 12 years, but never had a flower. Yours is amazing!

Gorgeous! One of my favourite trees! Unfortunately I can't have one in my garden as I have a young baby and they are very poisonous.
Yours is stunning and looks lovely in the pot. Enjoy yours :-)

Thankyou Heidi, nice to hear from you and Welcome to GOY. How are you finding it on here? Hope you enjoy it as much as I do, there's so much that can be learnt and so much good advice given by other members.
Yes. I have heard that the Laburnum is poisonous, it seems to be just the seeds I think. Looking forward to looking at your photos. How old is your baby? I have two daughters, 2 grandaughters and a grandson and also a great grandaughter of 5.

Loving the site, only joined a few days ago! Its very addictive! Learning lots. Its a great place to find the answers to my many questions.
Amelie is 7 mths old.....I also have a son whose 18yrs and a daughter 15yrs. Im am started all over again with Amelie, and loving every minute of it. She's a joy. I've wrapped her up this week and shes sat in her pushchair watching me pottering around in the garden. Can't wait to buy her , her first pair of wellies! Lol
Do your children enjoy gardening too?

Pleased to hear you are enjoying the site, with a brother and sister that much older than her, I bet Amelie never has to look for a bit of company, ....bet they spoil her rotten. One of my daughters is becoming quite interested in her garden but my eldest one detests it.....Strange how we all differ isn't it?, but it would be a boring ol' world if we were all the same.!!!

That is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen! Absolutely fantastic! Congratulations!

Thanks Karen, I'm sorry to say I no longer have it as I did a silly thing and somehow did not put the saucer back under the pot and it rooted into the soil. It must have stood without it for a good few months and I damaged it trying to get it out. I was gutted when it died, but I have got another one on the go now and I will make sure the saucer doesn't get misplaced again. Just hope it turns out as good as that one and in a shape similar to that one..

Wow, I love this. Such an appropriate size for your garden. Wonderful to have it around without giving up the space. Well done.
