I wonder what is going to grow up your trellis panels? Your grass looks so green - no rain here for ages so mine is looking rather sorry for itself.

Your border looks good, love that large rock. How did you get it into your border?

Didn't grow anything up the trellis because we were waiting to see if we'd be moving and I wanted to take them with me! Now we are here for another six months that I know of, I have morning glories growing there, but it's so dry and on top of a slope, so they're not very big yet!
Grass is actually more weeds than grass, took this picture the day after a rare downpour which made it look greener, also it had just been cut so you can't see how much of it is really weeds! Most of the time it crunches when you walk on it.
Big rock was the only thing in the garden when we moved in (apart from a lot of junk, metal, paper, broken stuff) so rather than fight it I started by making a flower bed around it. If you go to my very early photos you'll see what the garden used to look like.

I was searching online for fencing ideas and love yours. I know it has been over a yr since you posted the photo and you may now not be able to help, but do you have the details of the fencing, what it was made of, colour, sizes, etc. I am based nr London so I prob won't be able to source it from the same place, but any help would be great as I am inspired!!!

I'm afraid I don't know, it was here when we moved in. The trellises we added from a local garden store just because there was so much fence. Also, here in Canada fences may be made of different wood I guess.
