Me too Louise....isn't it stunning!
6 Jul, 2010
Louise have made some new flower borders in front of the garden room, the pink one did so well decided to buy some more.

Those borders sound good and lovely to look out onto such pretty flowers.
What site and soil is it there ?
7 Jul, 2010
The border is reclaimed from lawn area, so soil not that good, the label said to add bonemeal to planting, OH feeds occasionally with liquid feed, these plants are grown in the New Forest which is not far from us, is this how you grow them?

Sounds much the same re the poor soil.
It's alkaline and thin and stoney and most of them get full and direct sun until about 7pm, a couple get sun until 4ish.
I give mine a liquid feed when i remember which is probably once a month.
