Thanks! They are extremely common and popular trees because they need no water at all during summer.

How hardy if at all are they and can they be kept pruned to a relatively small size ?

Sorry to tell you this...but these trees are very tender to cold and prefer not to be grown in a pot.

Thanks! You probably see many of these trees since they are native to Western Australia. It's an extremely widely grown tree here too.

We do have a few corymbia around here, but none with those orange flowers!!!

That's so strange....red, orange and pink are the most commonly grown colors here.

Ah well summer s coming so if they suddenly burst into colour for some reason I will let you know!
