To take the place of some scruffy pink ones.

Gee it was Spritz who came up with the idea and I too thought...... great idea, the pink ones were taking over the garden and when they had to be cut down we had big gaps, so have been investing in Geums, potentillas and well behaved HGs...

I've just given mine a trim back and they look really ugly patches now! Is there a list of well behaved hardy geraniums? They really seem to be very tolerant of my wet clay/baked hard soil!

Ask Spritz, she is the leading authority on HGs........

I've got lots of 'scruffy pink ones' too, DD2 - what a good idea to replace them with well behaved ones like Jolly Bee. I think I will copy you :)
