Hello Eileen, hope you're OK, our paths havent crossed for a while. Busy, busy summer days. Glad you know what it is now. Grew from seed this Spring.

That was lucky then Eileen. Im fine thanks but busy in the garden. Remember last year when I kept moaning about the rain, well now I'm praying for it.

never happy are we lol, the grass here is all brown. i saw a blackbird land in the pond this morn, never seen a blackbird do that here before so i have loads of water out for them now

My lawns are brown too, was forecast heavy rain at 4pm but it never came. Nice to hear you're supplying bath water for the birds, lol.

I love the bright red of this. Mine has grown very tall, about 3 foot +. Should I have nipped it for for a bushier plant?

I dont know Gee, I only grew these this time. These are only about 8 inches high but tend to lie down. Like you say, they are very red.

Its very pretty, I had one simular about 30 years ago, had a white cross in the centre don't know if its the same or a different variety,
