No! Bellflower, fraid not, it was one my Mum planted years ago in the border, she is 88yrs and doesn't remember, all I know is that it started off gold & pink but is now all pink.

Lovely garden but flippin hard work, just wish I could wave a wand on it all LOL.
Good Luck in finding a rose like mine :o))))

It really is a very pretty rose. A big garden is a bit of a burden as you mature. Glad we got out of our huge garden before we couldn't cope. If I needed to simplify our garden I'd just have grass and shrubs and get someone to cut and prune and have a few pots about with easy plants in them

Thanks LadyE, I have just ordered one of the David Austin ones hopefully for a bit of colour next year, but if it's anything like as good as this I will be well pleased.

There was the most beautiful pink David Austin rose at Ongar garden centre. With a very strong fragrance. I hovered about near it. Wondered where to put it. Next year, I thought, in a big pot......so I managed to walk away and leave it there.....miracle.

I would love to have my garden all one level with some grass, some decking and also some paved with raised beds and a few pots Ooooooo! Nothing like dreaming is there LOL :o)))
Hope the David Austin Rose you ordered Bellflower turns out to be nice.
Ha! Ha! Dorjac, hard walking away isn't it.:o))))

I have read a few reviews of the rose (it's name is Gentle Hermione) and they all sound pretty good, especially the fragrance of it which I was particularly interested in. Can't wait to show you the photos next year! (fingers crossed)

I remember the name now Bellflower, such a lovely name too. It really is a wonderful perfume. I went back to take a photo, as they only had one left, and it had gone. I probably would have bought it if it had still been there!!!!!

I got mine off the net and it was much cheaper than if I bought from David Austin, so I hope the quality is okay.
