I am expecting to see the first hummingbird arrive at my feeder[s] today, because May 15 is the day that they always arrive. The Balitimore Northern Orioles are a few days late, but are here in northern Minnesota today.

Great, what a triumph for you. I have been feeding birds all around my house for years but never has an Oriole visited. Do they summer in your area only? Here the only one we get sometimes is the Orchard Oriole and then only if it's perfect conditions, others migrate thru but never seen one in my yard.

Beautiful bird!
I love them and love to try to identify them. My biggest thrill was seeing a whole little flock of Waxwings! They were chasing a hawk and flew right over the top of my home. I was in the right place at the right time!
What a beautiful bird they are!!
My husband was from Wisconsin next door to you. Yes very cold climate there and humid in summer.
Best regards,
