Rose has left the pergola and gone off with the Eucalyptus tree..LOL

Welcome to the world of Eucalyptus. They are so fast growing...some species can grow to 50 ft/ 15 m in just 2 or 3 years.

I have realised that ..
The man at Catchum & Cheatum Gc said it's a slow grower 1 foot every ten years .I think he meant to say 10 feet every year..... ...LOL..

Yes, 10 - 15 feet is more typical for the really tall-growing Eucalyptus species...only for the first 3 -5 years...then they slow down and spread out.

I'm surprised your Eucalyptus tree is still alive after your cold winter! Most of the ones grown here in southern California wouldn't tolerate snow.
