I thought so too Elsiemay....But the leaves are putting me off a bit...Do they look like Cornflower leaves?....

there is a variety called John Coutts which has similar leaves... it is pretty whatever it turns out to be !

It seems to be Centauria 'dealbata'...the Persian Cornflower..which is a perennial.....thank you Elsiemay for your help....I dont remember sowing these seeds....:>)
