In full flower in mid May. (With warmer weather it now flowers a month earlier.

It is also stately and graceful, an architectural beauty.! Wish mine would hurry up and grow up. I started one from seed about 5 years ago and it's about 5 ft tall now, I've a long way to go before it even resembles yours.!

Beautiful tree - hope mine will reach maturity too - I bought it last year. Had some gorgeous flowers in May, but now it's being regarded as a nice restaurant by spider mites, and something that likes eating the bark. A bright green caterpillar and a snail munched their way to the top, but I declared war and put mites and all in the green bin. I hope the tree will get better.
