Canna Cleopatra

Beautiful Canna Louis never gave these a try ,but seeing this I might just get some next year .....Do you grow them in a pot ?

Thank you Janette, Skillen and Milky......... Yes I grow them in pots Janette, as I can bring them into the greenhouse over winter. I used to put them in the ground, but loads of them got rotten, so it's not worth it unless you dig them up at the end of the season.....:-)

Thank you Sanbaz....Yes please do have this canna, as it's the best one of the lot.....well it's my favourite anyway :-) If you do, have them, keep them in pots, so that you can keep it in a sheltered place for the winter. I think this is one of the most delicate of all the cannas. I have also got the Picasso, but it has no flowers as yet......will have to wait and see if it flowers before the Summer's through....LOL!!

I have a feeling, that this Picasso will not flower this year, but I am also keeping my fingers crossed .... :-)

That is lovely Louis, we have grown several this year, and Picasso is one, we have them in the ground, but will take them up in the winter.

Thank you DD2. I have kept the Cleopatras in big pots, but planted the Picassos in the ground yesterday, like you, I will dig them up and keep them in a box in the greenhouse over winter, but I'm wondering, if they will flower this year???

All ours are about to flower, some better than others.
