I like the way your flags go around the edge of the border it makes a nice neat edge for the grass and border. Looks lovely and lush - my favourite colour green just don't like the cutting of it.

Goodness your grass is so green has it been very wet where you are? Mine looks like straw its so dry here.

Your green grass looks such a contrast to the lawns in many parts of England which had no rain for many weeks...

Hope if you are in the very dry areas that you get some rain soon to help things green up. :-)

It rained last night for the first time in weeks and the ground is like dust again today.

Yes, the East is getting it particularly dry even though the west is now getting more rain :-(
We are the opposite - had a dry day today for the first time in weeks! It was sunny for spells but not warm at all. We are never happy are we?!

I love the green.... Wish I had enought room to have some grass. I've used up the whole lawn area with flowers etc. Looks pretty to me.

My lawns get small each year Valerie I want to end up with just wide paths lol

What a lovely garden even without any colour it still looks vibrant and interesting, so when a splash of colour comes along it will make it even more so.

Lovely serene garden. My own garden had the problem of greenness last year so I've added some hardy fuchsias, rudbeckia ,coreopsis and penstemmons + a few pelargoniums. I've also added a couple of quite strongly variegated hosta and some lovely spiky leaved iris.

They have made all the difference.

Thanks Anchorman, I have now got colour from my perennials although many of my seedlings from the greenhouse have not survived the cold and wet here this year. I'm still hopeful that a few will yet flower - there are buds now on the rudbeckia!
