San Diego County had sun, very hot, humid temps causing "excessive heat warnings" inland, severe thunderstorms causing "flash flood warnings" in the mountains, and many fires caused by lightning. The monsoonal rains came all the way to the coast today. Photo taken July 15, 2010. (pic of clouds coming from the southeast)

Not a lot...but enough to give the wilting plants some water. : > )
The mountains had flash flooding which is typical for the monsoon season.

Although, you get more heat and humidity and rain...since you live in the tropics. .

We still need the rain more than you do...lol! We are still under water restrictions. We didn't get very much rain. It's very unusual to receive any rain during Summer or Fall. We probably won't get any more rain/showers until December.
