Battered Beans

Well they can`t be saved I`m afraid. The strong winds have done their worst and despite trying to stand them up again all attempts failed. We did however, manage to tie them to the fence so they are supported and any beans that grow have lots of room. Hopefully they will still do well.

Look at it this way....at least you won't have to reach up to pick your beans....lol

It's heart-breaking, Sandra, we had exactly the same on our allotment a few years ago. The weight of them is phenomenal when they need to be put back isn't it ? We saved the middle section only. : o ((((

Oh I hope you can save them ,this wind has done a lot of damage ,my Lavatera has blown over ,now I am wondering should I try and prop it up ,or dig it up.....
