Salvia lutea 'Kirstenbosch' - 2010 (Salvia lutea 'Kirstenbosch')

An unusual, non-hardy salvia that I saw growing wild in South Africa on cliffs on the southern Cape. Grow in well-drained soil in full sun; overwinter in a bright light in frost free conditions. The type reaches three feet but this is a dwarf form. The flowers start yellow (hence aurea) but quickly turn brown
