My Angel's Trumpet is blooming again. This is even after the 100 degree F. / 38 degree C. heat severely wilted it a week ago. Photo taken July 24, 2010.

Mushybanna:

Angel's Trumpets are very tough shrubs. I cut back Angel's Trumpet 'Super Nova' to the main stems about 3 weeks ago...now it looks like I didn't cut back at all.

Mine is on a diet of reduced watering in an effort to get it to do something.

Meanie:

Angels Trumpets love water and fertilizer. I think if your plant receives a lot of water it should grow very quickly. If it's in a pot and not growing quickly...then it need its roots to be pruned (they have tons of roots).

Thanks Delonix.

Meanie:

You may not want to know my root-pruning technique. lol! : > )

I cut 50 - 60 percent of the roots out of potted Angel's Trumpets. The reason is they generate roots so very quickly. Most of the time in my garden the roots grow into the grow from the pots.
