this is a fab plant i bought one for my mother in law and she has 4 acres of garden but the deer ate all her allium. she didnt have this one so she was delighted and it was fab the head was massive on it she lives in west cork and they have fab plants down there she takes cuttings and grows seedlings for my garden in meath because i cant afford garden centre prices i awlaws carry a secutares and spade in my car and if i see something nice in someones garden i go and ask them for a slip heace the fact that ive a lovely garden and people love when you complemt their garden and love to give slips or devide bulbs or collect seedlings for you its a really cheap way to do it and you also make a new friend

What a great way to increase you plant stock and your circle of friends. I would love a four acre garden but at my age i have to be sensible. I bought loads of Alliums last year when the garden centre had reduced them to silly prices and they gave us a wonderful show all summer.

The heads look stunning even after the flowers, which last for ages, have gone over.
