Thankyou Amy and Pansy. Yes we are lucky to have the open space behind us. We were told by the builders, when we were first buying the house, that we would have houses behind us, but was told then, that it is a green belt. Having said that, the guy who actually owns the land, directly ajoining our garden, rents it for the horses. I don't think it's suitable to build houses there anyway. We've lived here 36/37yrs, and so far so good. And yes we do have lovely neighbours, all around us. Human as well as animal Lol. So we are very lucky. :o)))
