I have a deep pink one growing in pots at the door to my conservatory and every time I open the door and step out I am 'hit' with the scent! You can't beat them for scent that carries during the day can you....most powerful scents seem to be borne at night time. I love them but I find it hard to place them in the garden because of their blue foliage. I'll stick to growing them in pots I think.

I know what you mean, Karen but I think they'll look good with lavenders, nepeta and Festuca glauca round the base of Geoff Hamilton rose.
